This project was completed for tram line maintenance where the key requirement was to have a cost-efficient process to maximise the life of the rails.

This gauge corner restoration unit machine was designed to guarantee precision and consistency when in use. We took into consideration the needs of operators and the setting so created machinery that was quick to set up and deploy. This helped with the tight maintenance scheduling on the rails and to reduce the time the track is out of commission.
The equipment was robust and used very high standard components and facilitated comprehensive data capture which ensured every restoration is certified and traceable.
Our client needed to ensure that the process was scientifically validated so we worked with that in mind and provided 3D models that could be used to validate the proposal.
We then provided a prototype for final validation and demonstration which enabled our client to launch the equipment effectively within the industry.
